A warm welcome to Breuberg Rai-Breitenbach in the Odenwald region!

The cosy village of Rai-Breitenbach, a part of the town Breuberg, is situated at the foot of medieval Breuberg castle in the beautiful Odenwald region. The village’s history dates back to the year 798, when “Raibach” was first mentioned in context with a donation to the monastery of Lorsch.

The church of Rai-Breitenbach is believed to have been built around the year 1000 and thus is the oldest church in Breuberg. When visiting, don’t miss out on the 600-year-old frescoes in the choir room! The close proximity to Breuberg castle as well as the beautiful village centre of Rai-Breitenbach create a special atmosphere for all events in and around Rai-Breitenbach – throughout the whole year.
